Anna Lea Bernhard von Schlechtleitner is a researcher at the Institute for Minority Rights, where her work focuses on the interdisciplinary analysis of social challenges in the area of sex and gender, with special emphasis on gender equality, anti-discrimination, LGBTQIA+ rights and the analysis of anti-gender backlashes. She is co-editor of the Gender Matters blog. In addition to her research, she is pursuing a PhD in European Law at the NOVA School of Law in Lisbon. She holds an LL.M. in European and International Law from the same institution, as well as a BSc in Economics and Business from the LUISS Guido Carli in Rome.
