Cecilia Frego (she/her) is a PhD candidate in Geopolitics at the University of Pisa. Her research focuses on the Russian-speaking minorities in the countries of European Integration, with a multidisciplinary approach. She obtained her BA in International Science and Diplomacy from the University of Trieste and her MA in International Studies at the University of Pisa, with a thesis on the Gagauz, Ladin, and Crimean Tatar minorities. Fluent in several languages, she attended a specialization program at SIOI concerning Diplomacy and spent a year teaching Italian and promoting Intercultural awareness in Hungary through the ESC Programme.
