Domenico Andrea Schiuma is a PhD candidate in Social Sciences (curriculum: Political Sciences) at the University of Genoa, Italy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and European Studies from the University of Bari and a Master’s degree in Adminstrations and Public Policies from the University of Milan. His research mainly focuses on democratic innovations, local government, political parties and political communication. In his free time he reads a lot, plays classical guitar, tries (unsuccessfully) to get better at chess and watches TV series.
