Sociolinguist by training in her beloved Bologna, Nicole is now a PhD candidate in language policy at Ulster University, Belfast, and looks at the way public policy targets language barriers in healthcare. Dog, film and dance enthusiast, she may or may not be in the process of becoming a slave to her own Duolingo streak.
