Doctoral degree in Education, lecturer of English language and Head of Grant and Fund Raising in the International Office at Erbil Polytechnic University (EPU), Erbil, Kurdistan region of Iraq. Selar received her Bachelor (2003) in English language at the University of Salahaddin-Erbil, Kurdistan Region-Iraq, Master’s (2008) in Education at the University of Nottingham in the UK. Selar’s PhD (2017), which was at the University of Southampton, is based on the higher education reform policy in the KRI. She has participated in international and national conferences, workshops and seminars and published research papers in international journals. Selar has held several managerial positions in higher education isstitutions and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and a legal representative of Imperial English UK (IEUK) in the UK. Her research interests are educational reform, quality assurance and applied linguistics.
