The Institute for Regional Development will spend the next three years working on the Alpine Space project "PlanToConnect", that aims to promote ecological connectivity. The "PlanToConnect" project will take up already completed projects on ecological networks in the Alpine Space in order to summarise the results and prepare them for spatial planning. The contents of the OpenSpaceAlps project, which aimed at preserving alpine open spaces through spatial planning, will thus be developed in detail.
