The “Wood Passage” is an initiative of Pro Holz Austria, Pro Holz Bavaria and Lignum Switzerland.
The aim is to draw attention to the importance of wood as a natural raw material.
The "travelling" timber construction has already been set up in many squares in European cities and is now also making a stop at Silvius-Magnago-Square in Bolzano, at the invitation of the South Tyrolean timber initiative ProRamus.
Marco Mina, Institute for Alpine Environment, and Christian Hoffmann, Institute for Regional Development, will inform pedestrians and interested citizens about projects on forest-related subjects at Eurac Research tomorrow the 27th of June.
