Short Bio:

Abhishek Singh is a Post-Doc-Researcher in the Advanced Computing Group at the Institute for Earth Observation, Eurac Research, Bolzano, Italy, and a team member in the ScaleAgData project, contributing to data fusion tasks for grassland monitoring in the Italian Alps. He received his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology with a specialisation in Space Data Science and Technology from the University of Trento, Italy, in January 2024. His research expertise encompasses weakly-supervised deep learning techniques, including generative models, convolutional neural networks and attention mechanisms, specifically applied to multi-source satellite image analysis. Additionally, his skills extend to data augmentation, data fusion, land-cover mapping and spatio-temporal data analysis.
