About

Andrea Menapace is an environmental engineer with a PhD in Sustainable Energy and Technologies from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, looking for efficient and sustainable solutions for energy and water distribution systems. He is currently a senior researcher at the Institute for Renewable Energy at Eurac Research in the field of district heating and cooling systems. His main interests are energy and hydro-informatics, including demand characterisation and forecasting, anomaly detection and classification, thermo-hydraulic smart grids modelling, metamodelling, optimal design and planning, urban energy scenarios investigation, and water-energy nexus analysis in the context of climate change.
