My research deals with the industrial development of the control systems used within heating and cooling facilities, both at hardware and software level.
In paticular, it focuses on the application of Machine Learning and System Identification techniques to improve their design and operation.

At Eurac Research I contributed to the design and implementation of the control and data acquisition system of the Energy Exchange experiment and the Heat Pump Lab climatic chamber and I lead the design, development and LabView implementation the software operating them.

In the course of my career I had the privilege to share with students of the University of Padova and Bolzano part of my expertise in the C/C++ programming language, embedded systems programming, automatic controls and PLC programming, as teaching assistant or lead instructor.
