Elena Righi works as a science communicator at the Center for Advanced Studies of Eurac Research. After having studied German Studies and History of Art at the University of Innsbruck she obtained a master's degree at the University of Siena. Then she worked for several years as a museum educator. Afterwards, she was responsible in two publishing houses for communication in Italian and, as an editor, she curated a lot of editorial projects. Currently, as a science communicator, she is promoting the scientific work of those researchers at the center who work in a trans- and interdisciplinary manner, and who are addressing issues of transformation and socio-economic themes from a global and local perspective.
