About

Eric Wilczynski is currently conducting his PhD in collaboration with the Institute for Renewable Energy at Eurac Research, the Institute of Environmental Science at the University of Geneva, and the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University where he is investigating energy flexibility in building and urban energy systems. He holds a B.A. majoring in both Economics and Environmental Analysis & Policy from Boston University (2015) and an M.S. in Energy and Earth Resources from the University of Texas at Austin (2017) where he also conducted research for the UT Austin Energy Institute on electric utility business models. Prior to his move to Europe, he gained experience in the utilities industry in southern California.

  • Regional and urban energy and climate issues
  • Spatial analysis and GIS
