Biodiversity Conservation

I am a Naturalist with PhD in Physical Geography. I have worked from 2001 to 2010 in the public research world, in Universities in Florence and Zurich (CH) and in the Italian Research Council, mainly working on soil chemistry and alpine landscape history. Since 2011 I work in Eurac where I am leading a research group on human-environmental interactions, writing and managing EU projects on Ecological Connectivity and human-wildlife coexistence. I am really interested in environmental education, because the future of our Earth is in the hands of the youngs.

What we do

Our research addresses the greatest challenges facing us in the future: people need health, energy, well-functioning political and social systems and an intact environment. These are complex questions, and we are seeking the answers in the interaction between many different disciplines. [About us](/en/about-us-eurac-research)
