The project “Climate Report 2017” is an internal, interdisciplinary project with the aim to report on the latest scientific evidence on potential consequences of climate change for South Tyrol and analyze options for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to the expected impacts of climate change. The project is an update of the climate report 2011. The report will be edited by the department for science communication and addresses decision makers, schools and the interested public. The publication will be presented at a press conference at the end of 2017. The report is the result of an interdisciplinary cooperation across EURAC institutes (Earth Observation, Alpine Environment, Regional Development, Renewable Energy).
