Ontology of risk in urban environments

Return (Multi-risk science for resilient communities under a changing climate) - is an extended inter-institutional partnership aimed at strengthening the research chains on environmental, natural and anthropogenic risks at the national level and promoting their participation in European and global strategic value chains. The RETURN project is funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

The main objectives of the project are understanding, monitoring, assessing, predicting, preventing, mitigating natural and man-made events, taking specific actions to improve resilience, adopting a holistic, interdisciplinary and problem-solving approach.

In this context we developed a multirisk-oriented conceptual modeling of urban systems based on the use of ontologies.
