Short CV:
Carolina Chizzali graduated in Sociological Sciences and holds a master's degree in Local Development at the University of Padova.
She is working as a Junior Researcher at the Institute of Regional Development and is an active member of the interdisciplinary group Gender Dynamics of Eurac Research.
Her main interests regard accessibility, mobility and well-being of different social groups in rural and mountain areas. Currently, she is involved in an INTERREG project dealing with sustainable transport solutions for peripheral and cross-border areas (SUSTANCE) and in a Horizon Europe project dedicated to enhancing resilience, social inclusion, and well-being in rural areas through social innovation (SERIGO). Moreover, she is exploring the topic of the mobility of care in rural areas.
