Valentina D'Alonzo is senior researcher at the Institute for Renewable Energy, working in the Urban and Regional Energy Systems research group. Her main fields of activity are the integration of spatial planning with energy and climate issues for the energy transition (at urban and regional level), data-processing using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) to support the decision making process and, more recently, climate change adaptation and resilience enhancement.
