Alice Engl (PhD in Politics, University of Innsbruck) is Senior Researcher and Leader of the Research Group “Autonomies, Boundaries and Identities” at the Institute for Minority Rights of Eurac Research. Her research focuses on minorities, Europe, borders and border regions. She is guest lecturer at the University of Innsbruck and General Secretary of the South Tyrolean Political Science Association, where she co-edits the South Tyrolean Political Science Yearbook.
