- English

- Place: Seminar Room 7
- Typology: Public Lecture
Societies are constantly evolving. To understand societal futures as something that is presently in the making, we might simultaneously need to look at two kinds of imaginaries. On the one hand future imaginaries and how they impact present developments and decision making and on the other hand the socio-philosophical term of the radical imaginary as a concept for the creation of something other within present practices. In her talk Filiz Aksoy will propose to shift the question from what futures are possible to how futures are possible, by looking at different kinds of imaginaries through a practice-theoretical lens.
The lecture will be held in English and is open to everyone interested.
