Ukraine Recovery Conference - URC2024

Günther Rautz has been invited by the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany, Robert Habeck, and First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yuliia Svyrydenko, to attend the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024), co-hosted by Germany and Ukraine, in Berlin on 11 and 12 June 2024 (https://www.urc-international.com/).

The URC2024 is a continuation of the high-level events dedicated to the recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine that have been held since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war of aggression against the country. The key goal of the URC2024 is to mobilise international support for the recovery, reconstruction, reform and modernisation of Ukraine.

The event will bring together international political leaders, international organisations and financial institutions, representatives from the private sector, municipal and regional authorities, civil society and members of the Ukrainian diaspora. This year’s URC will also focus on the strong link between EU accession, reforms, recovery and reconstruction. It aims to address the significant task of recovery taking a whole of-society approach, highlighting the role of cities and municipalities in the recovery process.
