    • Place: NOBIS Bruneck
    • Typology: FESTIVAL

The aim is to get to know different perspectives and approaches to the topic, to discover and recognise goals and connections, to discuss them in a constructive way and finally to find solutions together. A conversation with solution-oriented participation.

Table 1: Intersectionality - awareness and contrast

with Katharina Crepaz, Melanie Gross, Chiara Paris and Alexandra Tomaselli from Eurac Research.
We are raising awareness of a field that is still new in South Tyrol.

Intersectionality refers to the interaction of different mechanisms of oppression, both in scientific research and in pedagogical, educational, and activist contexts. In the year of the 2023 elections, this topic is particularly relevant, as citizen participation and involvement are also taking place in the political process. Women* still have less influence in political bodies with important decision-making powers. In order to achieve equal opportunities and diversity in gender-sensitive decisions and actions, both genders need equal quotas, which will ultimately benefit everyone.

How to participate: by appointment and, subject to availability, spontaneously on the spot.
    Hours: 11.30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Room: Sustainability Lab OG 2, Presentation of results at NOBIS
