Climate change and existing social-ecological injustices call for collective action among scientists, policymakers, organizations and citizens. The TRANSACTIONABLE project aims to improve how they work together across disciplines and sectors, to address collective issues by creating actionable knowledge. In the project TRANSACTIONABLE, we will reflect on common obstacles such as unclear roles, power dynamics, and disconnected efforts. Through workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder interviews, the project will develop guidelines and evaluation criteria to enhance transdisciplinary collaboration. TRANSACTIONABLE aims ultimately to improve the process of knowledge co-creation and its application in support of fairer climate policies and just social and ecological transformations.
