Climate action and future energy in Portugal
10th November: Eurac Research takes part at the Clean Energy Forum Outlook 2023 and meets Environment and Climate Action Ministry of Portugal

Today, 10 November, is a busy agenda for Eurac Research in Portugal:
The day opens in Oeiras, with the participation of Wolfram Sparber, Head of the Institute for Renewable Energy, at the Clean Energy Forum Outlook 2023, in which he will be among the speakers in the debate focusing on the topic "Solar Energy".
In the afternoon, another important appointment in Lisbon with representatives of the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Action of Portugal.
The meeting is organized by EUREC - The Association of European Renewable Energy Research Centres, where Sparber is Vice-President. The aim is to discuss with the Ministry about an innovation target within the Renewable Energy Target. EUREC is working on a 5% innovation target in order to realise a lot of renewables on the one hand, but also to give EU companies and research centres the opportunity to test and implement innovative technologies.
