European Technology & Innovation Platform PV

David Moser new Vice-chair of the European Technology & Innovation Platform for Photovoltaics

The European Technology and Innovation Platform for Photovoltaics (ETIP PV) is an independent body recognised by the European Commission as a representative of the photovoltaic sector.

By gathering more than 200 European stakeholders with a deep experience in the PV sector, ETIP PV provides advice on solar photovoltaic energy policy, and helps to improve the competitiveness of the European PV industry in order to make Europe a leader within the global PV market.

David Moser - coordinator of the research group on Photovoltaic Energy Systems of Eurac Research - is member of the ETIP PV Steering Committee since 2016, and has now been elected as one of the two new Vice-chairs, going to support the new Chair Rutger Schlatmann (HBZ).

"The coming period will be a very exciting era for the ETIP-PV. With PV becoming the true driver of the much-needed energy transition, this will bring opportunities but also many challenges" said Moser, underlining also the necessity to talk to all the stakeholders in the PV value chain in order to understand how we should promote dialogue and strive towards innovation.
