New European Bauhaus

The New European Bauhaus is a creative and interdisciplinary initiative that connects the European Green Deal to our living spaces and experiences. Launched in September 2020 by the EU, it calls on all of us to imagine and build together a sustainable and inclusive future that is beautiful for our eyes, minds, and souls.
Eurac Research is, together with KlimaHaus Agentur, Libera Università di Bolzano, and the Autonomous Province Bozen, a partner of the initiative which represents the cluster "NEB of the Mountains". The aim of this focus group is to implement the New European Bauhaus at the regional level, with a special focus on South Tyrol, as the province's landscape is dominated by mountains.

Here below all the upcoming events taking place in Bolzano and Brussels involving Eurac Research
New European Bauhaus of the "Mountain" which is going to be presented for the very first time in occasion of the public conference "Klimahouse Congress" during the KlimaHouse exposition in Bolzano. Giulia Paoletti, Alexandra Troi and Elisa Ravazzoli from Eurac Research are going to talk about the conversation between clusters of “Creative Industries and Inclusive society” and “Valorisation of Sustainable and Beautiful built environment”. Participation in the New European Bauhaus Festival with side events in Bolzano and Brussels. The Festival brings the European Green Deal at the heart of our daily lives. The 11 June there will be a dissemination event "A window on the NEB- Mountain" in Bolzano with the involvement of the citizens. More information here. The H2020 project JUSTNature has been successfully selected for the Festival of the new hybrid European Bauhaus festival in Brussels and will take part with a booth in order to present the project to the citizens.
The NEB Lab is a co-creation space at the service of the New European Bauhaus community, for the delivery of beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive projects to improve our daily lives. The NEB Lab is where the New European Bauhaus is implemented in concrete and tangible actions, and it will be presented - at EU level - during these four days of NEB festival. More information here
