Eurac Research kicks off new project SUPERNOVA
- English
Our institute has extensive experience in conducting research projects focused on the performance and reliability of photovoltaic modules and systems. This week, on April 11 and 12, we will be launching a new research project in this field called SUPERNOVA.
This 42-month project, funded by Horizon Europe and led by Eurac Research, aims to establish high quality and high-performance standards for solar PV projects.
The project objectives goes from the improvement of the design of solar plants to enhance performance, reliability, security, and flexibility to the development of tools and components for various sensor technologies. The projects aims also at the use of robotic solutions to reduce costs, and to automate processes, and the creation of a methodology to classify solar components using big data and artificial intelligence (AI).
Partners of the project: CEA, TECNALIA, Polymer competence center Leoben, UPV/EHU, REIWA, SoliTek,Sicame Group, Valmont Solar, 3E, SAIDEA Statkraft SOLARPACK, EMEA BayWa r.e., CSEM, Above, PVcase, Case Western Reserve University, UNSW
