Eurac Research's technical expertise in eleborating Geographic Information System maps

GIS maps can associate data with their geographical position on the earth's surface and process them to extract information. Their main use is in digital cartography, graphicisation and the study of human and natural terrestrial phenomena. Eurac Research developed a range of GIS maps carried out within main European research projects. Some of them are freely available online, others require our advice and consultancy to be interpreted and used in the most suitable way for different purposes.
