Interview with the CAI K2-70 doctors

Seventy years after its conquest, eight female mountaineers will attempt to climb K2. The Italian Alpine Club initiative involves the Eurac Research Institute for Mountain Emergency Medicine as a scientific partner. The athletes underwent a series of preliminary tests at our terraXcube extreme environment simulator, where they will return once the adventure is over. Objective: to study female physiology at high altitude.

Expedition doctors tell us about the physiology of the human body at extreme altitudes.
