Dariusz Wojtaszyn, Professor in the Department of Contemporary History at the Willy Brandt Centre for German and European Studies at the University of Wrocław/Breslau (Poland), will visit Eurac Research's Center for Advanced Studies from 27 June to 1 July 2022.

Dariusz Wojtaszyn is the Erasmus programme officer at his university. The aim of his stay is, among other things, to get to know the specifics of the activities at Eurac Research, to familiarise himself with the issues of the research priorities of the researchers at the Center for Advanced Studies and to exchange information regarding the external funding of research projects. An important part of the stay is also the exchange of experience on EU project acquisition.

Wojtaszyn's stay is the return visit of the Willy Brandt Center of the University of Wroclaw/Breslau, after the staff of the Center for Advanced Studies had visited it within the framework of a Polish excursion in 2019. The result of the bilateral cooperation with the Center for Advanced Studies to date is the joint publication "Football Politics in Central-Eastern and Eastern Europe. A Study on the Geopolitical Area's Tribal, Imaginal and Contextual Politics", which was published in 2020. During the stay, questions regarding the conception and implementation of new project ideas will be discussed and spaces and topics for joint cooperation will be defined.
