ADAPTNOW local stakeholder workshop

On 19 July 2023, Eurac Research organized the first ADAPTNOW local stakeholder workshop in collaboration with Regional Management LAG Pustertal and Comunità Comprensoriale Valle Pusteria. The workshop took place in Brunico - Bruneck to discuss on how to strengthen the adaptation ability to climate change within the tourist and forest management sectors in Pusteria Valley.

Around 40 participants have been welcomed in the NOI Techpark Brunico, amongst which representative from different Offices of the Province of Bolzano, IDM, the local Tourism, Hoteliers, Farmers and Forest Associations, some Municipalities, together with INEWA and Ökoinstitut.

Activities focused on the analysis of climate-related risks and possible adaptation measures in the Pusteria Valley, as well as the needs and tools that should be reflected in these adaptation efforts. The lively discussion has been extremely important for the positive outcome of future project activities.
