October 17th 2024 - Workshop Micro- and Nanoplastic in the Environment

Micro- and nanoplastics are emerging pollutants in freshwater ecosystems - ubiquitous and persistent contaminants - that pose significant environmental and public health concerns due to their role as vectors for toxicants and the adverse effects of their accumulation in ecosystems. During the workshop 'Micro- and Nanoplastics in the Environment' on October 17th, organized as part of the EFRE1018-PlasticFree Project and co-funded by the ERDF Programme, several experts will discuss the characteristics and impacts of these pollutants from various perspectives. In addition to the specialist presentations, the event will conclude with a round table, where the audience will be invited to participate with questions and further discussions.

The presentation abstracts are available on the project's website: LINK
