Computational Multiomics symposium – From Big Data to Insights

    1 - 4

Yesterday's event was a success! With 76 attendees, we received very positive feedback! A heartfelt thank you to our speakers and attendees who made this day of information exchange and networking possible!

It was a pleasure for our institute to collaborate with the NOI Techpark's Food & Health unit in organising this event. As well as increasing networking with other institutions in our area.

Why Multiomics? Thanks to rapid technological advances in areas such as sequencing, mass spectrometry and imaging, it is now possible to generate large and multi-layered data sets that capture multiple aspects of biological systems, collectively known as “multiomics”. The use of these datasets has significant potential in both research and product development and is attracting increasing attention also in South Tyrol.

We hope to collaborate with NOI Techpark, Laimburg Research Centre, Libera Università di Bolzano, UniTrento - CIBIO and Südtiroler Sanitätsbetrieb - Azienda Sanitaria dell'Alto Adige again in the future on exciting scientific projects or events.
