Two new positions opened
Job positions opened at our Institute: Biomedical laboratory technician & Technician in IT Engineering/Development/System administration.
Biomedical laboratory technician (Bolzano / Merano).
The technician will be an active part of the team that is taking care of all the processes relative to the
biobanks and the sample collections of the Institute for Biomedicine. The position will be allocated at
the two sites at the hospitals of Merano/Meran and Bolzano/Bozen, where the biobanks and relative
laboratories are established.

Technician in IT Engineering / Development / System administration.
The Institute’s IT group provides the required IT resources and supports our researchers. This includes
development of software, web applications and databases with special emphasis on data security and
data privacy, system administration and monitoring of our calculation cluster and servers used for data
analysis, and the provision of general support services in the IT area. The position is intended to be a
longer-term position.
