The EnerMaps Open Data Management Tool aims to improve data management and accessibility in the field of energy research for the energy industry and regulators.

    Energy Data Management

EnerMaps’ tool accelerates and facilitates the energy transition offering a qualitative and user-friendly digital platform to the energy professionals. It is designed for energy planners, energy managers, energy consultants, public administration officers, social innovation experts and data providers. The tool maps datasets relevant for the EU energy sector (with focus on the European building stock energy consumption: space heating, cooling and domestic hot water) and respective metadata – among others: granularity, completeness, geographical coverage, reference year, methodological description etc.

    Development

The tool has been developed within the framework of the H2020 EnerMaps project, which collaborates actively with European-wide data management initiatives such as the European Open Science Cloud Initiative and integrates actively its future users into the development of the different tools to insure their usefulness.

    Features

    • data related to renewable energy data,
    • energy efficiency data including building stock data,
    • data related to energy consumption and production,
    • data related to emissions and climate,
    • research and innovation investments data.
